I loved the original U2XMP & this mod is a grand re-creation of what that game is about even where the feel is somewhat different for the differences in the elements of the game engines.

that's why after get my new puter, one of the first installs is XMP!!! Look forward to seeing ya in there buddy!

Man I miss this game a lot. Are there still anyone playing? If there is I'm seriously considering digging out my UT2k4 discs and playing the free-monkey mod. It's as close as you can get to the original. FM did such and amazing job. It makes me sad that there will never be another XMP or even similar game. I miss all the yahoos from voodoo clan as well. OK now I'm depressed...lol

Ya sometimes you can find BBF players online. Usually Friday or Saturday Nights. Also, 12pm PST (3pm EST) is is about 8pm in Germany on Mondays & you can find some USA players kicking around with our Euro friends on the funfightclub server.

I may be reinstalling shortly and running a low pop server as well.

I sometimes play on servers there. Are there any servers I could add and that aren't on the usual server list BTW? Just that playing there gives you lag that isn't present on local games. And usually no one joins so I end up playing with bots anyway...
7 PM GMT you say? KK, will check that out. 21 here then, as I'm in GMT+2 - yea, I had some people playing on the German server then.

Awesome awesome mod. 12 thumbs up. My only regret is that I didn't come upon this much earlier, I'm having abundant fun spamming my buddies with rocket turrets on my LAN server. Deploy, suicide, deploy muahahahaha. Thank you Freemonkey® team thank you.
